Check out some of our favorite releases from this past week!
Na’Kel had a massive 2018, from his skating career to an acting career that blossomed thanks to Jonah Hill’s ‘Mid90s.’ It’s only fitting that he kicks off the new year with Twothousand Nakteen, an exclamation from Na’kel that he’s here to stay and that 2019 is his year. The EP kicks off with the Neo-Rage Against the Machine, hardcore-influenced ‘Go’ that only begins to introduce the wide array of genres Na’Kel dabbles in throughout Twothousand Nakteen. Go get that shit on all streaming sites!
Rizzy breaks into 2019 strong with the release of his latest project Daytime Delusions. The 6-song EP flows together seamlessly like a perfectly constructed acid trip from Rizzy himself. The jazzy, lo fi influences that have always carried Rizzy find their highest point on this project and give him even more headroom to take his sound to its fullest potential. Daytime Delusionsis by far the most well-rounded release from our favorite Clearwater artist and you can stream it EVERYWHERE!!
‘RICHER THAN THE OPPS’
Retch has been wildinnn on Instagram in support of his latest tape Richer Than the Opps, which came out this past weekend. Retch’s rapid, machinegun flow finds its home over more Atlanta-inspired trap beats as he relishes in his accomplishments over the opps over the course of 13 songs. The lyricism on this tape might not be as vivid or personal as they have been on previous releases from Retch, but his delivery makes anything he gets on exciting and new! Bump it on all streaming sites yurrddd.
